FatPirate bonus — 100% up to €500 plus 200 free spins
18+ No UKGC licence · not part of GamStop
The straight answer
Fat Pirate is a pirate-themed casino launched in 2024 and run by Lumina Holdings Limitada under a Costa Rican company registration — no licence from a recognised gambling regulator is published on its site. The welcome bonus is 100% up to €500 plus 200 free spins on a minimum €20 deposit. The wagering is 35x, counted on the deposit and the bonus together: deposit €100, take €100 bonus, and you owe €7,000 in turnover, not €3,500. Free spin winnings carry 40x. Withdrawals start capped at €500 a day and €7,000 a month. UK players are accepted, but there is no UKGC licence and the site is not part of GamStop.

The offer at a glance
Eight facts we check first; the three in red decide whether the bonus is worth taking.

What Fat Pirate is
Fat Pirate casino opened in 2024, which makes it one of the younger brands on the market. It is run by Lumina Holdings Limitada, a company registered in Costa Rica under law N°9050. That registration is an ordinary commercial one: Costa Rica does not issue gambling licences, and the operator's footer names no regulator, no licence number and no legal address — only a copyright line and links to its policies. In practice no supervisory body stands behind payouts or fairness, and a player in a dispute has limited options.
The theme is played straight: a fat captain, treasure chests, a flag, ship's vocabulary in the menus. Behind it sits a full casino and a sportsbook in one account, so a single balance covers slots, live tables and bets. The interface is translated into 19 languages, including every language this site covers, so a Dutch, Polish or Finnish player lands on a localised product rather than an English fallback.
Two years is a short record. There is no long payout history to judge by, and Trustpilot shows roughly 2.0 out of 5 from more than 300 reviews (checked 13 August 2026), with delayed withdrawals and closed accounts the most common complaints.

The chest
The welcome bonus in numbers
The offer is a single first-deposit package: the casino matches your deposit 100% up to €500 and adds 200 free spins. The minimum qualifying deposit is €20. From the moment the bonus is credited you have 10 days to meet the wagering, and while it is active no single bet may exceed €5.
Two things stand out. The spins are the same 200 whether you deposit €20 or €500, so for a small deposit they are most of the value. And the ten-day window is fixed: the €35,000 turnover of the top tier has to fit into the same ten days as the €1,400 of the smallest — about €3,500 of bets a day.
The spins and the cash match are wagered separately, so a player can finish one part and still be working on the other. Whether a code is needed to claim any of this, and where the offer is switched on at deposit, is covered on the FatPirate bonus code page.
| First deposit | Bonus | Balance to play | Free spins | Turnover at 35x |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| €20 | €20 | €40 | 200 | €1,400 |
| €100 | €100 | €200 | 200 | €7,000 |
| €500 | €500 | €1,000 | 200 | €35,000 |
All three: 10 days to meet the wagering, €5 maximum bet while the bonus is active.
The fine print
Why 35x means €7,000, not €3,500
Most comparison sites stop at “35x wagering”. The part they leave out is the base. At Fat Pirate the multiplier applies to the deposit and the bonus together, not to the bonus alone.
The formula is short: turnover = 35 × (deposit + bonus). Deposit €100, receive €100, and €200 sits in your balance; 35 times that is €7,000 of bets before the bonus money can be withdrawn. With a bonus-only base the same offer would ask for €3,500 — exactly half.
The ratio holds at every size: €20 needs €1,400 instead of €700, and a full €500 deposit needs €35,000 instead of €17,500. Turnover is not money lost — each spin returns part of the stake — but every bet carries the house edge, and the more you must bet, the more of the balance that edge tends to take.
So the headline percentage says little on its own.

The 200 free spins come with the first-deposit package. They run on slots set by the offer terms, not on a game of your choice, and whatever they win is credited as bonus money with its own requirement: 40x, stricter than the 35x on the cash match.
Win €50 from the spins and you must bet €2,000 before that €50 can be withdrawn.
Spin wins tend to be small and spread over many rounds, so the 40x usually decides whether they survive at all. The same 10-day clock and €5 maximum bet apply — if you use both parts of the package, finish the spins early and keep the days for the larger turnover.
The titles above are real slots from the Fat Pirate lobby. Which games carry the spins, and how their winnings are capped, is on the FatPirate free spins page.

The €500-a-day withdrawal cap
This is the figure few reviews put on the first screen. At the starting level Fat Pirate pays out no more than €500 a day and €7,000 a month, whatever you have won.
Take a €5,000 win. At €500 a day it leaves in ten separate payouts, so at least ten days even if every request is approved at once. A €10,000 win hits the monthly ceiling first: €7,000 goes out over fourteen days, and the remaining €3,000 waits for the next month.
The limits rise through the VIP programme's five levels, but only the top one, Admiral, lifts them to €1,500 a day and €20,000 a month — the end of the ladder, not where a new player starts.
Payment speed is a separate matter: e-wallets and crypto are listed at up to 24 hours per payout, bank transfers up to 3 days. The cap decides how many payouts you need; the method decides how long each one takes.

Games, live tables and crash
The catalogue lists more than 6,000 games from 76 providers. Slots dominate, from Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Wazdan and dozens more. The live casino runs on Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live — blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows. A crash section carries Aviator by Spribe and similar titles, and the sportsbook sits on the same balance.
Payments are broad: 32 methods, 13 of them crypto, from Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Revolut, Trustly and Apple Pay to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and USDT. Support answers by live chat and e-mail around the clock. Regular players get cashback from 5% (up to €200, 1x) rising to 15% on higher VIP levels, plus 25% back on weekly live-casino losses, capped at €200 with 1x.

UK players: no UKGC, no GamStop
Fat Pirate accepts players from the United Kingdom. It does not hold a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, and it is not part of GamStop, the national self-exclusion scheme.
That changes more than a line in the footer. A UKGC licence brings mandatory deposit limits, reality checks, identity and affordability checks, and a complaints route through an approved dispute service. None of that is required here: some tools may exist on the site, but nothing obliges the operator to offer or enforce them the way British rules do.
GamStop matters most. A self-exclusion registered through GamStop blocks every UK-licensed site — and does not block this one. If you have self-excluded, the exclusion is still the right decision; a casino outside the scheme is not a way around it.
If you do play, set your own limits before the first deposit and treat the balance as money already spent. Free, confidential help is on our responsible gambling page.

FAQ
-
100% up to €500 plus 200 free spins on a first deposit of at least €20. The bonus expires after 10 days and the maximum bet while it is active is €5. It is credited once, with the first qualifying deposit.
-
No. It is counted on the deposit and the bonus together. A €100 deposit with a €100 bonus produces €7,000 of required turnover, double what a bonus-only base would demand. Free spin winnings are wagered separately, at 40x.
-
€500 a day and €7,000 a month at the starting level. Level 5 of the VIP programme, Admiral, raises this to €1,500 a day and €20,000 a month. A €5,000 win therefore needs at least ten payouts at the starting level.
-
No. It accepts UK players but holds no UKGC licence, so UK player-protection rules do not apply to it — and neither do the complaint routes that come with a British licence.
-
No. A GamStop self-exclusion does not block registration here, which is exactly why anyone who has self-excluded should stay away from the site. Free help is available from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
Verdict
The FatPirate bonus looks generous, and the fine print does most of the work. With 35x on deposit and bonus together, a ten-day window and a €500 daily payout cap, it suits a small first deposit and a player ready for a long wagering run who treats the 200 spins as a side dish. If you want to withdraw freely or play big, skip the bonus — or choose a casino licensed where you live, where the rules protect you.
